You’ll work through a range of activities introducing you to the key skills required to work as an Interior and Property Stylist. Each activity carefully guides you step-by-step through the creative process, gradually building your knowledge and confidence.
Along the way, our Educators – interior styling professionals working in the industry – will be on hand to provide guidance and answer questions. As you complete your activities and assessments, you simply photograph and upload your work for marking and feedback.
What skills do I need?
To get started, you’ll need basic computer skills and confidence using the internet. You’ll also need a computer or laptop with Microsoft Office, reliable internet access (broadband is best), access to an A4 printer and scanner (minimum 1000+ DPI), and a digital or phone camera to capture your work.
When it’s time to submit your assessments, you’ll upload them as PDFs. Using an app like Turbo Scan or Genius Scan makes this quick and easy straight from your phone.
To study with Interior Design Online you will need a strong command of the English language (verbal, written and comprehension) and, if required, be able to score at least 6 in the International English Language Testing System (IELTS) test here or an equivalent.
If required, our team will be in contact with you by phone to assess your English language proficiency, prior to an enrolment confirmation being sent. If your application is not successful due to your language ability your payment will be refunded in full.
