Meet our founder: A visionary in design education

At just 18, our founder Amanda Grace was named Britain’s Young Designer of the Year — and she hasn’t looked back since. Driven by a passion for industry-led, real-world learning, she built a career in education and founded Sydney Design School in 2008 with a bold vision to do things differently. In 2014, Amanda expanded her mission globally by launching Interior Design Online, a fully online school bringing design education to students worldwide.

We are required to assess the suitability of your chosen course accounting for your skills and competencies. If we believe the chosen course is not suitable for you, we will contact you to discuss prior to enrolment.

Digital literacy: you will be required to access resources by navigating our online platform, manipulate documents including scanning and converting to PDF, and communicate via email. Software courses require a high digital literacy to understand program requirements and procedures.
Numeracy skills: you may be required to complete tasks such as converting measurements.
Literacy skills: a strong written comprehension is required to understand course materials.
Language skills: you may be required to present information and projects in a written or verbal format.

I am aware that the information contained on my enrolment form may be used by my RTO or the following third parties for administrative, regulatory, and/or research purposes:

Employer – if I am enrolled in training paid by my employer
